Deviled Egg Recipe

Ingredients:

20 Hard Boiled Eggs
1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
3/4 Cup Mayonnaise
1 1/2 Tbsp Mustard
1 Tbsp Ketchup
1 Tbsp Dill Pickle Juice
1/2 Tbsp Sugar
2 Tbsp Milk
Salt and Pepper
Paprika

Recipe:

Add Eggs in a pan big enough to cover all eggs with water.  When water boils, add 1/4 Tsp Baking Soda (this helps the eggs peel easier) and continue to boil for 10 minutes. Drain Eggs and run under cold water. Once cooled but still slightly warm, peel Eggs and add to bowl. Cut eggs in half the long way and lay out open side up on a tray and place Yolks in a medium bowl.  Add to Yolks Mayonnaise, Mustard, Ketchup, Dill Pickle Juice, Sugar, Milk and Salt and Pepper to taste. Mix up ingredients well. Place zip lock bag in a large cup and fill with Yolk mixture. Cut corner from zip lock and fill Eggs with Yolk mixture. Add mixture to each Egg evenly. Dust Eggs with Paprika.

  • Lovely simple and tasty recipe. The ingredients couple perfectly for great consistency and flavor. The only addition I made was dill pickle slices on top of each egg. You can also add a jalapeño slice if you like it spicy. This will be my go to recipe for deviled eggs from now on. “Simplicity that works”.
