Tender Dutch Oven Pork Roast

 

 
Ingredients:
7 – lb Pork Roast
1/3 Cup Oil
Garlic Salt
Pepper
Salt
1 Package of Goya Ham Flavor Seasoning
1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
1 Box of Chicken Broth
1 – 12oz Beer
1 – 12oz Coke
1 McCormick Pot Roast Seasoning Package
8 – 10  Medium Potatoes
1 – 1 lb bag of Baby Carrots

Directions: 
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place Dutch Oven on burner, set on high and add oil. Season roast with Garlic Salt, Pepper and Salt. Place seasoned side down in Dutch Oven and season the remaining side. Brown all sides of Roast for approx. 3 minutes per side. Once first side is browned add 1/2 Ham seasoning mix. Turn over roast and season the other side. When browned on all sides reduce heat to medium and add Minced Garlic, Chicken Broth, Beer, Coke and Pot Roast Seasoning. Peel Potatoes, quarter, rinse and add to pot. Rinse Baby Carrots and add to pot. Cover Dutch Oven, place on center rack in the oven and cook for approx. 6 hours or until desired tenderness. Check liquid level occasionally and add additional broth if needed
