Deconstructed Stuffed Pepper Casserole

 
 
Ingredients 
1 1/2 Lbs Lean Ground Beef 
3 Sweet Bell Peppers 
1 Small Onion 
3 Garlic Cloves 
1 – 24oz Jar of your favorite Marinara Sauce 
1/2 Tbsp Basil 
1/2 Tbsp Oregano 
1 Tbsp Parsley 
1/2 Tsp Salt 
1 Tsp Pepper 
1/2 Tsp Garlic Salt 
3 Cups of Cooked Rice 
2-3 Cups Shredded Italian Cheese

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 2 quart baking dish and set aside. Finley slice Bell Peppers, dice Onions and mince Garlic and set aside. Prepare Rice as directed on package. Brown Ground Beef on medium high heat in a large deep skillet. Add Peppers, Onions, and Garlic to Ground Beef and stir. Cook until veggies are slightly tender. Add Sauce, Basil, Oregano Parsley, Salt, Pepper and Garlic Salt and stir well. Next add Cooked Rice and stir to combine. Then layer haft of the Beef, Veggie Rice mixture into the baking dish. Next using half of the cheese add a layer of cheese on the mixture followed by another layer of the Beef, Veggie and Rice mixture. Top with the remaining Cheese and back for 15 to 20 minutes or until it looks golden brown.
