We know this isn’t food related but found this to be such a cool item that we felt we needed to share with all of our foodie friends. If you live in a area where the electric gets knocked out often like we do living in the south and have little ones having a couple of these is a must. The bulbs are so cool you just use them like regular light bulbs and by doing so they stay charged. Then when you loose electricity they will continue to stay on. They ones we bought last approx 1.5 hours each so we picked up 4 bulbs. Once electricity is knocked out we leave on two lights and then shut the other two off leaving them charged. Once the two bulbs die we then turn on the other two bulbs getting approx 3 hours of light. Attached at the link there are other bulbs available that last up to 4 hours each so by grabbing 4 and just using one at a time you could potentially get 16 hours of extra light while waiting for the electric to come back on. Having these bulbs gives comfort to the little ones during a scary time with storms.
I will have to get some of these. We loose electricity often and are always looking for ways to keep some lights on during the evenings when it is out.
